Members of RAUK and Conservatives Abroad heard the Rt Hon William Hague MP Shadow Foreign Secretary speak at a reception held at the House of Lords. Many thanks to Lord John Taylor of Holbeach for sponsoring the event.

Members gathered at a local pub in Westminster for RAUK’s monthly happy hour. Primary results were discussed and results of the online Straw Poll were revealed. Congratulations to Senator John McCain with a clear majority of votes!

On 5 February, RAUK’s Young Republicans gathered at a bar in Covent Garden to celebrate Super Duper Tuesday’s primaries. Several representatives from major media organisations joined in to record the event and interview members.

Members gathered at the Royal Thames Yacht Club in Knightsbridge to attend the RAUK AGM.

With the Conservative Foreign Affairs Forum, RAUK hosted a meeting with Senator Chuck Hagel in the House of Commons. Attendees heard Senator Hagel discuss his views on US issues and the upcoming presidential elections.

Members dined at a restaurant in Victoria to celebrate the holidays.

RAUK members were invited to attend a political fundraiser for Senator John McCain’s presidential campaign in London.
